2019 is just a few days away and the talk of New Years resolutions is spreading quickly! It's the time of year when people make promises to themselves that they don't necessarily stick to for more than a month or so. This year, instead of promising myself things I know I won't follow through with and beating myself up about it when I fail, I've decided to encourage myself with gentle reminders. Try it with me - let's see how it performs!
My Resolutions for 2019:
1. drink more W A T E R
(I really need to work on this as it is affecting my health)
2. aim to R E A D one book a month
(I won't lie, this was one of my resolutions for 2018 that I didn't accomplish - although I did improve on!)
3. W R I T E more blog posts
(I could use your help on this one - what are things you want to read about?! I welcome feedback! I also want to increase my blog/Instagram engagement and I think this will help!)
4. P R A C T I C E yoga more regularly / workout more F R E Q U E N T L Y
(One of the things on my bucket list is to become a yoga instructor one day; I also want to be more at peace and lessen my anxiety in 2019)
5. get on a better S L E E P cycle
(I want to wake up in the morning with more time to get ready, while still feeling refreshed... so that means going to bed earlier, and less time on my phone before bed!)
6. J O U R N A L daily
(This was another one of my 2018 goals, and I started off well but didn't stick to it. It's a really good stress / anxiety release, and I need to be more mindful of its benefits.)
What are some of your 2019 resolutions?! How are you planning to achieve or accomplish them?
